Code of ethics
The core values of Stanian ICT Management Consultants’ is a simple statement of what we stand for and what we expect of our employees. Our core values are grounded upon the principles of a simple Code of Ethics and a Code of Conduct of how we will behave in the execution of our business client relationships and engagements.
Principles
We subscribe to BCS and IBC standards for conduct. Stanian undertakings to use our best judgment and moral sense to perform our job responsibilities in an ethical manner.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Stanian is a socially responsible organisation. We have a series of pilocies against which we measure ourselves. These policies cover, the environmental, haressment, Customer care, environmental plan, equality & diversity, health & safety, quality assurance, retention & selection, and training and development.
Standards
The Stanian standard is:
- We are committed to conducting client engagements to the highest standards of business practices, and to preserving the integrity of our company and its business relationships.
- We expect every Stanian ICT Management Consultants employee or sub-contractor to work with the utmost integrity and professionalism, including non-disclosure and privacy of sensitive information that may be accessed during client engagements, unless with the express consent of the owner of such data.
- We will use the highest degree of personal integrity in reporting any kind of data or information to the Company, to our clients, and to the financial community.
- We will be responsible for ensuring that we provide complete and accurate information when it is requested, and to input only accurate information into the Company's books and records.
- We take seriously our collective obligation to adhere to all laws that govern our personal and professional actions. Employees will comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the jurisdictions where you work or do business, this includes complying with laws and regulations concerning Financial Reporting, Insider Trading, Antitrust, Copyright, Foreign Corrupt Practices and Data Protection.
- We will provide a safe place to work in and an environment free of violence, threats of violence, or intimidation.
- We prohibit any verbal abuse, threatening behavior, or conduct that may endanger persons or property including possession of any firearm or other weapon on Company property.
- We will ensure that all employees treat others with the same respect and dignity they would expect themselves. Employees must avoid any comments or behavior toward others that may reasonably be regarded as harassment, or as reflecting bias on the basis of race, religion, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation or disability.
- We will protect both Stanian and our clients' confidential information. Even after resignation from Stanian all confidential data Will be removed from computers to protect confidentiality.
- We never use improper means to obtain confidential information of any other person or business. All vendor relationships will be managed and contractually controlled through bi-lateral NDA's.
- We will ensure that all potential conflicts of interest are avoided or where the appearance of a conflict of interest may be perceived. This includes:
- not engaging in any outside employment without the prior written permission of senior management
- not having a financial interest in, or affiliation with, competitors of Stanian
- not serving on outside Boards of Directors without senior management approval, not accepting valuable gifts from business contacts
- not engaging in political activities with Stanian consultants funds, equipment, facilities or supplies.
- Additional restrictions may apply, depending on an employee's position and job responsibilities at Stanian. For example, you must not have a financial interest in companies that do business or seek to do business with Stanian if you are in a position to influence decisions affecting that business. If an employee involved in procuring goods or services for Stanian you must take special care to avoid so-called 'related party' transactions, which involve contracts with Stanian suppliers or others that directly or indirectly confer a financial benefit on Stanian employees or their relatives.
- We will Project a positive light in our verbal and written statements about the Company, and avoid making derogatory comments about the company, its products, services, management, employees and systems.
- We encourage employees to report any situations they know about that may involve illegal, unethical or otherwise improper business activity, as well as all instances of employee violations of these Principles
- We will not tolerate employee substance abuse whilst on company business. Employees must never sell, use, possess or be under the influence of illegal drugs, or improperly use, possess or be under the influence of alcohol while on Company premises or while engaged in Company business, including Company or client sponsored events. Exceptions may be made for reasonable consumption of alcohol provided by the Company at Company or client sponsored events.
